Curtis had lost six games at home dating back to last season, but after bumping their record up to 6-8 on Thursday that streak is in the rearview. Everything went their way against the Fort Hamilton Tigers as they made off with an 11-1 victory. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by six runs or more this season.

As for Fort Hamilton, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-12-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Fort Hamilton's part, Pedro Gil Padilla was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. Gil Padilla also put up a run, which was his first of the season.

Coincidentally, Curtis and Fort Hamilton will both be playing Midwood the next time they take the field. The Warriors will host the Hornets at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Tigers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
