St. John Lutheran won the last time they faced Ocala Christian and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the St. John Lutheran Saints' way against the Ocala Christian Crusaders as the St. John Lutheran Saints made off with a 19-4 win. Considering the Saints have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Cooper Gloege made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out eight batters over four innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Luis Roman was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and one triple. He has become a key player for St. John Lutheran: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 2-4 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Will Spellman, who scored three runs and stole Three bases. while going 3-for-4.

St. John Lutheran always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

St. John Lutheran has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 14.7 runs. Ocala Christian's defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coming up, St. John Lutheran will face off against Lake Mary Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ocala Christian, they will challenge Peniel Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
