It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Pisgah had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They never let the Independence Wildcats onto the board and left with a 4-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Dragons, who have now won five contests by four goals or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Pisgah's third in a row) raised their record to 8-3-1. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three matchups. As for Independence, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13.

Pisgah has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Mississippi School for Mathematics & Science on the 4th. Independence does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
