Southlake Carroll had won four straight games and Angelo Renda did his part to make it five on Thursday. The Dragons breezed past the Timber Creek Falcons to the tune of 55-13 thanks in part to Renda, who threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.0 yards per attempt. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played.
On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Southlake Carroll's defense and their 4.5 sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as five different players picked up 0.5 apiece ( Jackson Oakley, Jake Lucky, Kaden Hodges, Vaughn Adams, and Robbie Ladd also recorded half a sack).
