David Rivera turned in yet another pitching appearance with more than six strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out six batters over six innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk). Don Lugo is 2-1 when Rivera allows one or fewer earned runs, but 4-5 otherwise.

Rivera's strong effort led Don Lugo over Ontario and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
