The Brunswick School Bruins are taking a road trip to take on the Hamden Hall Country Day Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Brunswick School barely beat Greens Farms Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bruins blew past the Dragons 15-3 on Thursday. The Bruins' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Brunswick School got a great performance from Johnny Gally as he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. Those nine strikeouts gave Gally a new career-high.
At the plate, Michael Marini was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Montanez, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
Brunswick School hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Greens Farms Academy struck out ten times.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Monday Hamden Hall Country Day sidestepped Avon Old Farms for a 3-2 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Hornets.
AJ Park tossed a big game, pitching five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Hamden Hall Country Day saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carlos Reyes, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI.
Brunswick School has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.8 runs over those games. As for Hamden Hall Country Day, their record is now 11-9.
