Brandeis' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Finley Montoya, who scored 14 points. The game was Montoya's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Trevor Short was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 14 rebounds.
