It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Fairmont ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Luverne, sneaking past 10-9. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for Fairmont's hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Makenzie Lowry was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run.
