The St. Paul Wildcats lost against the Broken Bow Indians back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. St. Paul was outmatched by Broken Bow at home and fell 61-23. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points St. Paul has scored all season.
When it comes to explaining why St. Paul lost, one person who can't be blamed is Gracie Kelley. Despite the final result, she scored eight points along with ten rebounds. Kelley is absolutely dominating the rebound category: she's posted at least eight every time she's taken the court this season.
St. Paul bumped their record down to 2-4 with that defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Broken Bow, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-1.
St. Paul will head out on the road to face off against Boone Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Broken Bow and Hershey will face off at 6:00 p.m. on December 19th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Hershey will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nebraska Rankings (they are ranked 87th, while Broken Bow is ranked 24th).
