It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact White County can now relate to. They fell 52-42 to the Dyersburg Trojans on Thursday. The Warriors' loss signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Despite the loss, White County still got an impressive performance from Ava Jones, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten boards. Jones' afternoon made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Another player making a difference was Gracie Clark, who posted six points and ten rebounds.

Dyersburg got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Chelby Jordan out in front who dropped a double-double with 15 points and 12 boards. Jordan is also on a roll when it comes to three-point shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 40% in the last five games she's played. Joya Crawford was another key player, putting up 15 points and seven rebounds.

White County's defeat dropped their record down to 32-4. As for Dyersburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-4 record this season.

White County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Dyersburg, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-51 loss against Northview Academy on the 14th.
