They were the clear victor by a 56-31 margin over Master's Academy. With Odyssey Charter School ahead 35-8 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Leading Odyssey Charter School to victory were Jevenson Antoine and Malik Brown. Antoine dropped a double-double on 14 points and 14 rebounds, while Brown dropped a double-double on 19 points and 11 rebounds. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Ky'Aire Donovan, who scored five points.
Odyssey Charter School's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Master's Academy, their loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-7.
Odyssey Charter School will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Melbourne Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on January 4, 2024. Hopefully Melbourne Central Catholic focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 last Wednesday. Master's Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Merritt Island Christian at 7:30 p.m. on January 5, 2024.
