Christ School dropped down to 3-2 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They lost 35-12 to the Charlotte Latin Hawks. Having soared to a lofty 46 points in the game before, the Greenies couldn't push the score so high this time.

As for Charlotte Latin, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 48.0 points this season.

Charlotte Latin was led to victory by De'Jon Douglas and Troy Logan. Douglas rushed for 116 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, while Logan threw for 184 yards and a pair of TDs. Douglas is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 116 every time he's taken the field this season. A healthy portion of Logan's aerial production (96 yards to be exact) went to Anthony McGill.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Christ School will venture away from home to square off against Asheville School (Independent) at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Charlotte Latin, they will take on Langtree Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
