Jesuit is 9-1 against Aloha since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Sunday. The Crusaders will take on the Warriors at 5:00 p.m. Jesuit knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Aloha likes a good challenge.
On Friday, Jesuit got the win against Beaverton by a conclusive 20-2. The result was nothing new for the Crusaders, who have now won nine matchups by 11 runs or more so far this season.
Adalyn Rhyne tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over five innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits.

On the hitting side, Jesuit got a massive performance out of Selah Greene, who got on base in all five of her plate appearances with one home run, four RBI, and one stolen base. Greene has been hot recently, having posted three or more RBI the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Liz Jacobs, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with five runs, one triple, and two RBI.
Jesuit was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .568. The last time their batting average was this high was was before the start of last season.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 15 runs the game before, Aloha was a bit more limited in their contest on Wednesday. They lost 10-1 to Mountainside. The Warriors have struggled against the Mavericks recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.
Aloha saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nellie Foust, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.
Jesuit is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-12 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.0 runs over those games. As for Aloha, their loss dropped their record down to 11-18.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Sunday. Jesuit hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.2 home runs per game. However, it's not like Aloha struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Everything went Jesuit's way against Aloha when the teams last played two weeks ago, as Jesuit made off with a 12-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Crusaders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
