Poppy Nichols made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. What's more, she posted four strikeouts, the most she's had since back in April of 2025. She was even better at the plate, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with four runs, two doubles, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Kinlea Cole and Nalani VanTuyl did most of the damage at the plate: Cole went 4-for-5 with one home run, four runs, and four RBI, while VanTuyl fired off two home runs, five RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. That's the most RBI Cole has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Kylie Britton, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs and three RBI.
Parma was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .536. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Vision only posted a batting average of .188.
Meanwhile, Marsing didn't have quite enough to beat Melba on Monday and fell 6-5. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Parma pushed their record up to 17-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for Marsing, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10.
Everything went Parma's way against Marsing in their previous meeting on April 6th, as Parma made off with a 16-3 win. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
