Detroit ended up on the wrong side of a rough 73-50 walloping at the hands of Leverett's Chapel on Tuesday. Detroit was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 48-19.
Leverett's Chapel's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from DeMarion Brown, who scored 15 points. That's the first time this season that Brown scored 15 or more points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaggar Ward, who scored 12 points.
Detroit bumped their record down to 2-13 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Leverett's Chapel, their victory bumped their record up to 5-8.
