Hugo was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss. They took  a  13-8 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Valliant Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  11-3  last Monday.
 Zane Allen was huge no matter where he played even without the win. He  tossed 1.1 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Allen was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI.

Hugo's record is now 9-17. As for Valliant, the  victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 17-11.
 Looking ahead, Hugo is taking a road trip to  face off against De Queen  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Valliant, they will welcome Tishomingo  at 4:00  p.m.  on Monday.
