The Woodbury Royals will be playing in front of their home fans against the Stillwater Ponies at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Woodbury's six-game losing streak came to an end on Monday. They walked away with a 67-58 win over North. The win was just what Woodbury needed coming off of a 79-52 defeat in their prior matchup.
Meanwhile, Stillwater came up short against Cretin-Derham Hall on Friday and fell 78-67. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Tuesday (58), Stillwater still had to take the loss.
Woodbury's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8. As for Stillwater, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-7.
Woodbury ended up a good deal behind Stillwater in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, losing 55-41. Can Woodbury avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
