Aaliyah Silver and Co. Win 17th in a Row
Greenbrier picked up their 17th consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Aaliyah Silver. Silver turned in her biggest game of the season, picking up 77 receiving yards and three touchdowns. That's the most receiving touchdowns she has posted since back in December of 2023.
Greenbrier pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season. Silver's next game is against Oconee County on Thursday, where she'll look to repeat that solid effort.

Big Game from Sergeant As Grovetown Won 14-6
Josalyn Sergeant put up the most rushing yards she's had since back in November of 2023 on Thursday. She rushed for 55 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 47 yards and one touchdown.
Grovetown pushed their record up to 15-6 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Sergeant and Grovetown will head out on the road to take on North Oconee at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.

A Season-Best Performance from Kaitlyn Tansiel Leads Grovetown over North Clayton
Grovetown was led to victory by Kaitlyn Tansiel, who turned in her biggest game of the season on Thursday. Tansiel made five total tackles and defended two passes in addition to snagging two interceptions, good enough to set a new career-high in interceptions in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: she has now defended at least one in the last nine games she's played.
