The Seaforth Hawks will venture away from home to challenge the Triangle Math & Science Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Seaforth will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Seaforth is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over Lexington.
Seaforth had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-13, 25-20, 26-24.

Kleber Corzo and Broden Jones were among the main playmakers for Seaforth as the former had 22 assists and the latter had 20 kills, seven digs, and five aces. Jones has been hot for a while, having posted six or more kills the last 13 times he's played.
They weren't the only good server: Seaforth was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 16 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in seven consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, Triangle Math & Science got the win against Falls Lake on Friday by a conclusive 3-0. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Firebirds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
While Triangle Math & Science won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-21, 25-23.
Triangle Math & Science pushed their record up to 15-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Seaforth, their record is now 15-9.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Wednesday's contest: Seaforth has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 10.7 aces per game. However, it's not like Triangle Math & Science struggles in that department as they've been averaging 12.1 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Seaforth might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Triangle Math & Science in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Hawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
