After losing to Tarboro the last time they met, Martin County decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Gators put the hurt on the Vikings with a sharp 11-1 win on Monday. The Gators might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Martin County has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 19-4 record this season. As for Tarboro, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-9.

Looking ahead, Martin County will face off against Perquimans at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Gators surely won't give up without a fight. Tarboro does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
