The Riverdale Christian Ambassadors lost against the Kings Christian Crusaders on January 8th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Riverdale Christian was beaten by Kings Christian 68-41. Riverdale Christian has struggled against Kings Christian recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Kings Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Ronnie Roche, who scored 25 points along with four steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which Roche has scored at least a third of Kings Christian's points. Another player making a difference was Elyas Miro, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 assists.
Riverdale Christian now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Kings Christian, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Riverdale Christian will take on Laton at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Laton is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Kings Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Alpaugh at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
