On Friday, the Davis Darts faced the Weber Warriors in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Everything went Davis' way against Weber as Davis made off with a 80-58 victory. The victory was nothing new for Davis as they're now sitting on three straight.
Leading Davis to victory were Zach Fisher and Coleman Atwater. Fisher scored 22 points along with eight rebounds, while Atwater scored 24 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Atwater has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tradon Bessinger, who scored nine points.
Davis is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. As for Weber, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-6.
Davis will be playing at home against Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Fremont has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 264 points over their last four contests. As for Weber, they will head out on the road to face off against Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Utah (Farmington is ranked 19th, while Weber is ranked 22nd).
