East Pennsboro is a perfect 10-0 against Milton Hershey since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. East Pennsboro is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitcher stepped up to hand Steelton-Highspire a 19-0 shutout on Tuesday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.
Anson Towsey was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Lucas Martz was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while going 1-for-1.

Milton Hershey never got on the board in their matchup last Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Steelton-Highspire last Thursday. They blew past the Steamrollers 16-4. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Spartans' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.
Ryan Wakeley made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.
In other batting news, Milton Hershey got a massive performance out of Parris Blackston, who scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in five of his six plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave Blackston a new career-high in hits (three). Bradley Pugliese also deserves some recognition as he scored his first runs of the season.
East Pennsboro's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-0. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.2 runs over those games. As for Milton Hershey, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
Milton Hershey's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: East Pennsboro hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .344. It's a different story for Milton Hershey, though, as they've only averaged .142. Will they be able to contain East Pennsboro's hitters?
East Pennsboro was able to grind out a solid victory over Milton Hershey when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 5-0. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Spartans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
