Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter is on a three-game streak of home wins, while Triton Central is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Raiders will welcome the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter has given up an average of 12.6 runs per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.
On Saturday, it was close, but Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter sidestepped Greenwood Christian Academy for a 12-11 win.
Riley Torres made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over seven innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs. Those three stolen bases gave her a new career-high.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Triton Central challenged Greenfield-Central on Monday. The Tigers came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 6-1.
Brylie Couch spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered a run (which was unearned) on six hits and racked up nine Ks.

Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Triton Central, their win bumped their record up to 14-2.
Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .316. However, it's not like Triton Central struggles in that department as they've averaged .405. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
