Jake Lanski in the second quarter, the Cougars led 10-0 at the half.

Ruben Valasquez. The senior wide receiver caught one touchdown.
The Centurions'
Vincent Gerardo was the standout player for his team. The senior running back ran for one touchdown.
Saugus' lone touchdown came on a 1-yard run by Gerardo in the fourth quarter.
With the win VHS extended its winning streak to three games. The loss was the third in a row for SHS.
Ventura (3-1) goes up against Camarillo in a non-conference game matchup next week, while Saugus (1-3) locks horns with Taft also in a non-conference game.
