The Winside Wildcats were the 48-28 winner over the Stuart Broncos when they last played one another back in December of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Winside had to suffer through a rough 53-17 loss at the hands of Stuart. Winside's loss continues a unfortunate trend for the team, making it five in a row.
Hadleigh Schutt was Winside's leading scorer, having posted eight points.
Winside's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Stuart, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Winside and Madison will face off on January 2, 2024 without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. As for Stuart, they will head out on the road to face off against Boyd County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
