The Camp Hill Lions will head out on the road to challenge the Middletown Blue Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Camp Hill is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
Last Friday, Camp Hill came up short against Boiling Springs and fell 64-54. While losing is never fun, Camp Hill can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 575th, while Boiling Springs is ranked 277th).
Meanwhile, Middletown didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against East Pennsboro on Friday, but they still walked away with a 54-50 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Middletown.
Camp Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Middletown, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Camp Hill suffered a grim 62-39 defeat to Middletown when the teams last played back in December of 2023. Can Camp Hill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
