 On the hitting side,  Maclain Irby made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. That  home run marked the first that  he  launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mookie Rodriguez, who  went 4-for-5 with one  double and one  RBI.
Lakeland Christian's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for McKeel Academy, the  victory was  the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-6.
 Coming up, Lakeland Christian will square off against Victory Christian Academy at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
