Paul VI had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Cherokee Chiefs by a score of 2-0. The Eagles haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Paul VI easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-15.
