Edison lost against Reedley back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Reedley got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Lexie Obeso out in front who had four aces. What's more, Obeso posted two digs, the most she's had over her last six contests.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 13-12. As for Reedley, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-7-1 record this season.

Edison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Hoover on the 20th. As for Reedley, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Yosemite on the 20th.
