After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Michigan City brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They were the clear victors by a 21-4 margin over the Marquette Catholic Blazers on Monday. With that victory, the Wolves brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.
Ann Sawyer made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Sawyer was even better at the plate, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.
