Columbia and Ridgevue are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Columbia Wildcats will head out on the road to square off against the Ridgevue Warhawks at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Columbia is hoping to put an end to a nine-game streak of away losses.
Columbia scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Caldwell 70-43 at home. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win Columbia has posted yet this season.
Meanwhile, Ridgevue pushed their score all the way to 57 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 69-57 to Bishop Kelly.
Despite the loss, Ridgevue got a solid performance out of Tucker Tiddens, who scored 23 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Keegan Randall, who scored ten points.
Columbia's win bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Ridgevue, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Columbia came up short against Ridgevue in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, falling 56-51. Can Columbia avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
