Softball Recap: Northeast Bradford Wins Going Away Against Canton

Northeast Bradford never let their opponents score on Wednesday. They blew past the Canton Warriors 12-0. Considering the Panthers have won six matches by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Hannah Berger was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Antoinette Herb, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Northeast Bradford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

The victory made it two in a row for Northeast Bradford and bumps their season record up to 8-5. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 7 runs in those games. As for Canton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last 11 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season.

Northeast Bradford has already played their next game, a 12-1 loss against Troy on the 8th. As for Canton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 19-2 defeat against Williamson on the 5th.
