After two games on the road, Union is heading back home. They will take on the Rosewood Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Even though Union has not done well against the Leopards recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Union snuck past the Leopards with a 39-34 win.
Ariyona Spearman was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more rebounds the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Centavia McKoy, who scored two points along with ten rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Rosewood scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They claimed a resounding 51-17 victory over Hobbton at home. That 34 point margin sets a new team best for Rosewood this season.
Union has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season. As for Rosewood, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-14.
Everything came up roses for Union against the Eagles in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 50-23 victory. Does Union have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
