The Ridgeland Titans were the 65-26 winner over the Vicksburg Gators when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. Ridgeland was just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 34-33 to Vicksburg. Ridgeland has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Ridgeland lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Raniya Fisher, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals. Jordan Austin was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with nine rebounds.
Ridgeland has not been sharp recently as the team has lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season. As for Vicksburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-19 record this season.
Ridgeland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Vicksburg also has no future games currently scheduled.
