Meanwhile, Holy Cross Academy's recent rough patch got a bit rougher two weeks ago after their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 70-43 defeat at the hands of Accelerate Christian. Holy Cross Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 36-11.
Wichita Christian dropped their record down to 1-8 with that loss, which was their ninth straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.2 points per game. As for Holy Cross Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
