The Cibola Cougars lost against the Cleveland Storm back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Cibola was outmatched by Cleveland on the road and fell 61-7. Cibola has struggled against Cleveland recently, as their match on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.
Harris Mbueha was the offensive standout of the game as he rushed for 85 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries. Mbueha was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 68 yards. Jaden Davis also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.
Cleveland's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. Leading the way was Psalmon Kegler and his two sacks.
Cibola's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Cleveland, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-3.
