Penn Hills has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Fox Chapel Foxes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Penn Hills has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 253 points over their last four contests.
Last Tuesday, Penn Hills beat Gateway 55-48. The win was all the more spectacular given Penn Hills' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 66th, while Gateway is ranked 20th).
Meanwhile, Fox Chapel came up short against Upper St. Clair on Tuesday and fell 50-40. Fox Chapel has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Fox Chapel's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Caden Kaiser, who scored 11 points along with five assists and two blocks, and Will Siegel who scored nine points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Kaiser has scored all season.
Penn Hills' victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 9-5. As for Fox Chapel, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-8.
