Phillips had to kick off their season on the road on Friday, but they showed no ill effects. They took their game against Edwards by a conclusive 38-8 score. That result is just more of the same for Phillips, who also won the last time these teams played. This was the first game for both teams, giving Phillips a 1-0 record and starting Edwards off at 0-1.
Next week, Phillips take on Oakfield at 1:00 PM. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Phillips and Oakfield will really light up the scoreboard. As for Edwards, they will face of against Wisconsin Heights.
