After two games on the road, Tri-Cities is heading back home. They will take on The Jackson Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Tri-Cities comes in on a streak of failing to score more than six points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
Last Friday, Tri-Cities was beaten by Creekside 64-6. While losing is never fun, Tri-Cities can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 316th, while Creekside is ranked 35th).
Jackson can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They snuck past Villa Rica with a 32-26 victory. The victory was just what Jackson needed coming off of a 66-6 loss in their prior match.
Jackson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rashad Harp led the charge by throwing for 122 yards and two touchdowns, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground.
Tri-Cities' defeat was their eighth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 2-7. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 9.1 points per game. As for Jackson, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.
Tri-Cities took a serious blow against Jackson in their previous meeting back in November of 2022, falling 55-7. Will Tri-Cities have more luck at home instead of on the road?
