The Atkinson County Rebels's game last Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They secured a 63-58 W over Charlton County. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jack Braddock, who scored 21 points. Ja'mari Hamilton was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five assists.
Atkinson County's win bumped their record up to 7-16. As for Charlton County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-12.
Atkinson County will head out on the road to face off against Turner County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Charlton County, they will be playing at home against Echols County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
