Baseball Recap: Twin Valley Has No Trouble Against Lancaster Catholic

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Twin Valley). They were the clear victors by a 15-4 margin over the Lancaster Catholic Crusaders on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Kooper Zdimal made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-low in walks (zero). He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That hit marked the first that he got this season.

In other batting news, Twin Valley got a massive performance out of Ben Vaughan, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-4. That's the most stolen bases Vaughan has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Logan Crunk, who scored a run while going 3-for-4.

Twin Valley's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Lancaster Catholic, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.
