Osbourn Park gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 40-0 win over the Freedom Eagles. The Yellowjackets not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 3, 2024 (when they won 41-0).

Osbourn Park's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ahmad Bah, who rushed for 102 yards and a pair of scores on only 12 carries. Those 102 rushing yards gave Bah a new career-high. Derron Danquah was in the mix too, providing Osbourn Park with two touchdowns.

Osbourn Park's run defense was locked in: Freedom could only muster zero yards per carry. The Yellowjackets didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.1.

Osbourn Park didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Danquah.

Osbourn Park and Freedom should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Yellowjackets (ranked 84th) will meet Hylton (ranked 244th) at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th. Meanwhile, Freedom will face off against Annandale at 7:00 p.m. on the 5th with a big rank advantage (85 vs. 299).
