First Colonial is 8-2 against Green Run since March of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Patriots will be playing at home against the Stallions at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (First Colonial has five straight wins, Green Run has five straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Wednesday, First Colonial made easy work of Landstown and carried off an 8-1 victory. With that win, the Patriots brought their scoring average up to 6.1 runs per game.

Cori Evans made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned run off six hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in seven consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. Those three hits gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lucy Domozick, who scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Aimee Ord, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
First Colonial was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .423. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Green Run lost 11-2 to Landstown on Thursday.
Green Run saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Makayla Odeneal, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.
First Colonial pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.8 runs over those games. As for Green Run, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. First Colonial has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Green Run struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 4.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
First Colonial took their victory against Green Run in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 16-0 score. Do the Patriots have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Stallions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
