Stafford is a perfect 3-0 against Fort Bend Willowridge since February of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Stafford's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Royal with a sharp 11-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won four in a row.

Maxwell Frels made a splash no matter where he played. He kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out seven over five innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Stafford is undefeated when Frels posts two or more runs, but 4-6 otherwise.
In other batting news, Josh Myers and Zachary Brown did most of the damage at the plate: Myers scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-1, while Brown went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. Another player making a difference was Greyson Frels, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.
Stafford was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .381. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Royal only posted a batting average of .000.
Meanwhile, Fort Bend Willowridge fell victim to Almeta Crawford and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Chargers, falling 21-0. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Stafford's record is now 11-6. As for Fort Bend Willowridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-14.
Fort Bend Willowridge's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Stafford hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .327. It's a different story for Fort Bend Willowridge, though, as they've only averaged .211. Will they be able to contain Stafford's hitters?
