The Covenant Eagles scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Boys' Home on the road to the tune of 85-24. That 85-24 margin sets a new team best for The Covenant this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead The Covenant to victory, but perhaps none more so than Nathaniel Olazagasti, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 13 rebounds. Olazagasti set a new season high mark in steals with four. Jonathan Newton was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with three steals.
The victory got The Covenant back to even at 3-3. As for Boys' Home, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. The Covenant will take on Fishburne Military at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Fishburne Military is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. Boys' Home will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Grace Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 12, 2024.
