Hammond Bishop Noll is 1-6 against Highland since May of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Saturday. The Warriors will head out to  challenge the Trojans  at 10:00  a.m. Hammond Bishop Noll is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 11.3  runs per game  this season.
Hammond Bishop Noll blew Whiting out of the water the last time the pair played, but  on Tuesday Whiting got their revenge. The Warriors fell just short of the Oilers by a score of  9-7.
 Molly Whelan put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   five  hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  earned run in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with two  doubles and one  RBI.
 In other batting news,  Aiyanna (Yani) Espinosa led a balanced group of hitters,  going 1-for-2 with one  home run and two  runs.  Caitlyn Walker was another key player,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
Lowell hit Highland with a five-run first inning  on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Trojans came up short against  the Red Devils, falling  12-1. The  loss   continues a  trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Red Devils: they've now lost eight in a row.
 Highland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Hailey Thomas, who  went 1-for-2 with one  stolen base and one  run.
 Highland's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
Saturday's   match will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Hammond Bishop Noll hasn't had any issues making contact this season,  having earned a batting average of .408. However, it's not like Highland struggles in that department as   they've  averaged .392. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
 Hammond Bishop Noll suffered a grim  10-0 defeat to Highland  in their previous meeting  back in May of 2024. Can the Warriors avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
