Latino College Preparatory Academy never got on the board in their matchup on Monday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against KIPP San Jose Collegiate on Wednesday. They blew past the Wolfpack 24-8. The result was nothing new for the Golden Eagles, who have now won five games by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 YULISSA HERNANDEZ was a standout: she went 2-for-4 with one  home run, three  runs,  and four  RBI. She also put up a  triple, which was her first of the season.  ANDREA SANCHEZ was another key player,  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances with one  home run, four  runs,  and one  stolen base.
 They weren't the only ones working in the  home run department: Latino College Preparatory Academy  lost a few balls and  finished the game with four  home runs. That's the most  home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.
Latino College Preparatory Academy's victory was  their fourth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 6-4. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 20.0 runs over those games. As for KIPP San Jose Collegiate,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 2-6.
