Braeden Palazzo's Big Game Leads Mcdonogh over Mount St. Joseph
 Starting off the list is McDonogh's  Braeden Palazzo, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Palazzo threw for 328 yards and five touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.
 Palazzo is probably looking forward to his next game, a  road matchup against Calvert Hall on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time  Palazzo saw the Cardinals), he threw for 223 yards and four touchdowns.

Brandon Finney Makes It Two for Mcdonogh
 Another McDonogh player making an appearance on this list is  Brandon Finney. He made a tackle.

 Gilman had to settle for second  on Saturday, but  Isaiah Trusty sure wasn't going down easily. Trusty was dynamite, punching in a rushing score.
 This is the second loss in a row for Gilman and  nudges their season record down to 4-3. Trusty and Gilman will get a bit of extra time to process the  defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Concordia Prep at 12:00  p.m.  on October 19th.

A Season-Best  Performance from  Jansen Craig Leads Mcdonogh over Mount St. Joseph
  Jansen Craig produced his most outstanding game to date while leading McDonogh to the win  on Friday. Craig picked up 113 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 On the season,  Craig  has caught 2 touchdowns while averaging 24.1 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season,  he was only averaging 0.86  receiving yards per game.

Brayden Pross Delivers Best  Effort of Season
 Loyola Blakefield was led to victory by  Brayden Pross, who turned in his biggest game of the season  on Saturday. Pross picked up 80 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
 For the year,  Pross  has caught 5 touchdowns while averaging 71.4 receiving yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after five games last season,  he was only averaging 2.4  receiving yards per game.
