Juan Diego Catholic's nick Markosian rumbled for the longest rushing play in 3A Region 10 this season in his game against Hurricane last week. Markosian scampered for 96 yards on the play and finished with 124 on the day as his team beat the Tigers.
Juan Diego Catholic extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating Hurricane, 38-0. The win marks 12th in a row for the John Colosimo's team.
The Soaring Eagles' offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Markosian threw for 86 and one touchdown and Vincent Bianchi had 30 yards receiving. On the ground chase williams chipped in 169 yards. Kalei kauhaahaa helped Juan Diego Catholic's passing attack out by catching one ball for 20 yards.
Wasatch's James Delacenserie and Gavin Nebeker have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Delacenserie has thrown for 2789 yards this season, while Nebeker, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 49 catches for 945 yards. Williams from Juan Diego Catholic leads the league in rushing with 1055 yards.
The Soaring Eagles took down Chris Homer's team 38-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Markosian in the win.
